"What's it like? Hmmmm. It really depends on the person, but the fights can get pretty intense when skilled people go at it. In my case, being in one of the fights get's my blood pumping and gets my excitement level up. But then again, that's just me. Also, a person using the holo-comp can only affect someone else using a holo-comp, making it perfectly harmless in everyday life." Pointing out the library as they passed it on the way to the food court, Kyle continued.
"But you got to be careful while fighting too. Even though it does no physical damage on the body, hits you take are registered by your brain, thus you feel the pain as if the attack had actually hit you. For example, if you were shot by a holo-bullet, it would feel like you were shot by a real bullet. It's quite painful when your not ready for it. I've also heard that some people have gone into comas because they took a hit so strong it sent them into shock. But since the school's careful about what can be used, the chances of that happening here are pretty slim."

Craig nodded as he let those words marinade. A part of him started to wonder if that would happen to him. After all, just any other game, some people played for keeps. And quite frankly, he didn't even want to think about what it would be like to take a bullet. He narrowed his eyes behind his yellow shades.
"Guess that means it would suck to get hit by a .44 shell, huh?" he asked rhetorically as he cringed slightly.

"If you got hit my a .44 shell, you'd probably get shocked to the point of being knocked out. Good thing they have limits to make sure we don't get killed from the shock." As they passed the food courts, Kyle quickly grabbed a burger and a drink, then waited for Craig to get his food. "We'll head down to the holo-arena's after this, maybe get one of the fields if they aren't being used."

Craig nodded as he stopped at one the establisments. "Remind me to avoid Clint Eastwood, then." After some thought, he grabbed some rice with a side of beef, along with a slice of cheesecake and a Vanilla Coke before rejoining Kyle. "And I definitely like the idea of heading to the fields. I'd like to get into at least a practice battle. That way I could get a feel for it before I start going into random battles."
