Vague. He wasn't as unaccostomed to the system as she had expected him to be. Normally, Vague was a good thing-- it offered loopholes. This type of vague, however, gave all of the loopholes that she fully intended to exploit to someone else. She didn't like that thought.
Tilting her head thoughtfully at the boy, she considered.
"Well there are two problems with that, lad." She stated matter of factly. "The first being that my ending condition, should I lose, is intolerably vague, and the second being that it isn't double or nothing. Should I win, you lose nothing." She flicked the wad of cash once against her hip, reminding him that it was in fact still in her hand, "And I gain nothing. However, should you win, you gain a servant of undetermined tasks. Quite unfair, I think."

"My aren't you untrusting. But I got no reason to take your good faith on being able to come up with double what you have now. So, you lose I take what's already mine, and you work the rest off. I lose and you'll get your doubled money. I for one have the pockets deep enough to cover whatever change you've got there."
He spoke arrogantly making sure she got the impression he wasn't just some punk kid, but a punk kid who at the very least had a obscenely well off family.
"My friend here can vouch for that, and she's got deep pockets too. Of course if you don't like how it sounds, you can always just hand over what I'm owed and we can be done here. I got things to do."

Yume turned to pay attention to Takai again, after he had wandered off she began to bug the various players of the tournament. She'd poke them a few times, or lean over and give them a hint of a view, or otherwise be a general nuisance. She was pretty sure one guy had lost his game because he was busy trying to catch a glimpse of whatever her shortened yukata might show. Now she'd caught reference to her existence and wandered over, taking care how much skin she flashed.
"Hmm?" she asked, curiosity peaking as her boredom grew. "You say something 'bout me Takai?" Of course she'd heard him easily enough, she wasn't paying much attention to anyone else after all, so the question really had no purpose but to exist. She spared a quick glance at the money and was busy putting the clues together on what exactly was occurring. Simple transaction of really something that looked a little less than pocket change. She'd probably find that kinda money in a corner lost somewhere.. probably in her sofa.

"I don't think I've questioned the depths of your pockets, lad." Rose stated matter of factly, sighing as she pushed off of the table, and shaking her head. This was beginning to go around and around in circles. "Whether you can make the money or not isn't in question. I presume that you will." She glanced momentarily toward Yume. "You could always borrow it from your bonny lass, there." Shrugging, she looked back toward Takai again. "You've also yet to describe the purpose of this servitude." She continued dryly, "Although you may be very nearly as naive as I think you are, I am not. What nature of servitude is it that you're looking for, hm?"

Yume raised one eyebrow, amusement and slight distaste showing as she appraised the girl in a quick glance. She turned to Takai and spoke in a voice that clearly was meant to be heard. "You want that for a servant? We could probably find you a prostitute with better fashion sense. Be cheaper and more than likely prettier." Frankly the girl's clothing was ridiculous, and were those tattoos? Now this was rich, Yume had to actually restrain herself from laughing. Oh the wonders of modern society, they never did cease to amuse her. It was like every day people went out of their way to amuse her with their latest atrocity of a fashion trend. The one thing she despised more than poorly dressed people, were the children dressed like some of the older girls. Or the people who try way too hard to look good, they tended to look like a walking train wreck. So bad you just couldn't take your eyes off them and had to attempt to keep from puking. She'd lost a lunch or two when she first ran into those types of people.
"Can't you hurry up and finish your bet already? I swear, you take longer for some things than I do to get ready." And given her usual indecisiveness on what to wear, which resulted in close to the same outfit daily, that generally took a long time. For the sake of relieving boredom she poked Takai in the side.
